PRIMARY PROGRAM Men receive substance addiction treatment, addiction education, relapse prevention, mental health counseling, and individual/group counseling. Treatment philosophy is based on the Twelve Steps of Narcotics and Alcoholics Anonymous. Treatment service is provided in a clean and sober residential facilities throughout San Mateo County. Men move through the 90-day program and must develop an approved exit plan prior to graduation. WORKING MAN PROGRAM Designed for men with full time jobs, yet in need of a residential substance addiction treatment environment. Clients may work Monday—Friday, 6am-6pm. Treatment is provided evenings and weekends. PROPOSITION 36, BAY AREA SERVICES NETWORK (BASN) Provides treatment services for men who are referred through the courts for substance addiction treatment as non-violent offenders or are on Parole from the California Department of Corrections. TRANSITIONAL HOUSING Transitional Housing is available for men who have completed Project Ninety's treatment program. Men live in six-bed homes. Curfews and other regulations are strictly enforced. Clients must be employed full time, attend AA/NA meetings and weekly Project Ninety Aftercare meetings. Men can stay up to 18 months. INTERMISSION HOUSE (14—17 year olds) An adolescent group home that provides treatment to juvenile offenders. Young men must stay at least six months. The focus is on treatment, learning positive behaviors, and redirecting their lives. TREATMENT FOR HOMELESS MEN Services are provided on an outpatient basis at Maple Street, Safe Harbor, and Clara Mateo homeless shelters. Clients receive up to 12 hours of weekly treatment while living at the shelter. DUAL DIAGNOSIS PROGRAM Treatment services are provided in both San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. Men diagnosed with addiction and mental health issues need specialized treatment. This program provides clients with an environment in which they receive focused counseling regarding their mental illness as well as their addiction. Stigmas associated with mental health are addressed. Project Ninety has strong ties with San Mateo County Mental Health to ensure that clients receive appropriate mental health counseling and that medication needs are met. DAY TREAMENT PROGRAM Provides intensive outpatient services for men who have stable living situations. Clients receive 35-40 hours of treatment weekly. Designed to allow a man to continue to have the support of his family while receiving substance addiction treatment. This service is also available in the evenings in conjunction with the Working Man Program. |
