The Promise Project, Inc. maintains a strict Privacy Policy regarding any personal information provided to us by clients and program participants. 

 

It will, at times, be necessary to request and maintain non-public personal information from clients who request or inquire about our services and referrals.  This is done solely for the purposes of providing services and referrals, and for the gathering of statistical and demographic information.

 

Gathering statistical and demographic information will help us to assess the needs of the clients and communities that we serve, to plan for future needs and service offerings, and to support future funding requests.

 

Non-public personal information will only be requested by The Promises Project, Inc. for the purpose of facilitating requested services and/or for the purpose of gathering demographic information that may be required by our funding agencies and to support future funding efforts. 

 

Any such information that is requested will be stored securely and with as much anonymity as possible.

 

Personal information will only be shared as permitted or required by law, or with the express permission of clients for the purpose of facilitating client-requested referrals to professional service providers or Promises Project, Inc. Program Partners.

In such cases, only information that is reasonably necessary will be shared.

 

The Promises Project, Inc. staff that has access to non-public personal information will be trained in HIPAA and other applicable regulatory requirements as well as our internal Privacy Policy.

 

The Promises Project, Inc. will never rent or sell your personal information for marketing or other solicitation purposes.
