The Promises Project, Inc.

 

Our Mission Statement

 

The Promises Project, Inc. was founded in 2005 for the purpose of providing substance addiction education, support, information and referrals to the San Mateo/San Francisco Bay Area Recovery and General Communities.

For People in Recovery:

The Promises Project, Inc. provides information, education, and referrals to professional services and other resources, to people in recovery with the goal of assisting in the continuation of their progress towards becoming responsible citizens of their communities, to and continue their recovery process and personal growth .

 

For Families:

The Promises Project, Inc. supports the stability and unity of families by  offering information, referrals and Family Development Counseling mentors to the families of people in recovery.

 

For our Community:

The Promises Project, Inc. offers speakers, seminars and information to the general community.  By doing so, we hope to foster a better understanding of substance addiction, its consequences, and treatment options for substance addicts and those who care about them.

 

For other Organizations:

We support Treatment Programs and Human Service Agencies by working with them to help their clients to acquire and maintain ‘real world’  skills and ‘a change in outlook and attitude’ that are necessary to be responsible and productive members of their families, communities and society.
